Tsuka bio (subject to update, for example with names)

Here's what is written in my notebook:

Tsuka has two older brothers, an older sister, and a younger sister. His grandfather's sister is the one who maneuvered things to send him to the Isawa Shugenja School (as far as he knows). She told him it might be very difficult, to be Scorpion among out-Clan before his gempukku; he thanked her for the opportunity to strengthen himself. He took up wearing masks early while among the Phoenix (making them from rice paper). Before his gempukku, he wore his hair long, either left loose bit for an elaborate topknot, or in a single braid. After his gempukku, he cut it short -- though longer than his jaw -- and took to dying it red. Tsuka is betrothed, and he quite likes his fiancée. They keep up a lively correspondence. He prefers men, though not exclusively, and is confident he will be able to do his procreative duty with the partner selected for him.

Hilariously, your finding the notes and tweaking Tsuka's siblings appropriately mean he and Rayu match even more now lol -- exact same sibling layout ;3~

So what does he think of his family, what with having not been raised near many of them (if that was the case)? Any close ties or sibling rivalries? What do they think of him being trained by Phoenix? Any quirks innocent DMs should know about? 83? or names, names would be lovely

Tsuka is not particularly close to his eldest two siblings (whose names I have blanked on), partially due to the age gap and his displacement for schooling. His eldest brother is stuffy, his sister merely distant. Tsuka knows them about as well as he knows his parents, which is not all that close, really. The younger of his elder brothers is a bushi with a quirky sense of humour, who took the name Kaeru at his gempukku. (After the story of the frog and the scorpeen, natch~) He and Tsuka get along quite well, and Kaeru is the brother Tsuka most tried to emulate when he was younger, despite their different paths in life. His younger sister has not yet reached her gempukku and is currently known as Hikaru. She's slightly spoiled, but Tsuka dotes on her when he visits anyway. (She was very put out by his hairstyle change.)

I think the eldest brother disapproves somewhat of Tsuka being trained by the Isawa but he's never exactly said so (granted, there's so much room for never exactly saying a thing...); it's the fact that this is the wish of Tsuka's "Grandmother" and that their parents have never objected that keeps him from outright criticism. Of that. He's never liked the puckish streak Kaeru and Tsuka share and will likely see them as immature for years to come.

I'm not sure why the elder sister is distant; Tsuka feels she is more focused on her own life and learning. There is no acrimony between them, but she's not warm with him and in response he's polite with her.

Sooooo... Shall Kaeru be one of those Crazy Fucks Over Yonder? I believe we batted that around in convo once.

His oldest brother is Tatsukane, his older sister is Ju Chie. His father is Hondesshou and his mother is Tanachiru. His grandfather's sister is Shizuka. Tsuka's childname was Motojiro.

All of this was in the tiny notebook in the bottom of my bookbag's front pouch, in the back where I had notes about Vasili. v(._.)v

We have established that Tsuka's kitty is a mi-ke -- a tricolour/small splotches japanese bobtail.
