That would be an interesting thing to have going on; it allows for stingy bugs having some internal maneuvering about it all -- Tsuka will consider this above his level, currently -- and also leave an opening for outsiders to make comments/assumptions that it indicates a "weakness" in the clan that their Champion be so "decrepit", either just because he's an older dude or because they "don't have someone young and strong who's worthy" (and then, in some quarters, followed by much fneeheeing trash talk about "worthy Scorpion" being rare as hen's teeth or some such).
